There are lots of shiny bits on your old bike, but polished aluminum is what really stands out. Our local guy, Bill Albright, has set up shop to do our polishing work. We rate polishing on a scale of four for our projects:

  1. Hand cleaning only,
  2. Hand polishing with Mother’s or similar for a quick and presentable shine for daily riders,
  3. Machine polish with dings and dents (the patina) left in,
  4. “Show” polish with no dings or dents.

95% of our customers want either 2 or 3.  Bill’s machine polishing is Level 3 and he does a terrific job at a reasonable price. Machine polishing gives you a finish you just can’t get by hand.
