Price: $2,000 ($1,500 if you join the Guild and complete the project here)

Description:
This bike was essentially a solid barn-find from Jericho VT. Our Guild builds custom bikes now and again and this was to be a “Street Tracker” similar to the cover photo. We paid $500 for it and have put about $2K into machining, vapor honing the castings, various engine parts and Buchanan’s stainless spokes and rims. We sold the electronics and dash on eBay as a set since we did not need it and there are buyers who need them for their stock builds. We have all the documentation on the work and parts that have been done to date.

Basics:
- 7,370 on the clocks
- Matching numbers
- No registration or title; bill of sale only
- Located in Essex, VT
Jack’s Listing Assessment:
Given our focus on funding the Intern Scholarship program, we no longer have resources to pursue this project. The oil-in-frame Triumphs make great core bikes for the track or street given their rigidity. Their lack of an external oil tank makes for a clean set of lines. If you decide to take the project home and do it in your shop, we’ll spend plenty of time with you going through what has been done, parts included, etc. On the other hand, if you do the project in the Guild, you’ll have lots of help (and opinions) to keep you motivated.
And someday, it could look just like this…
