Owner’s Description:
I have owned the bike for about five years. I bought it from John at Bluemoon Cycle in Georgia. It’s a completely restored 1954 NSU Max, it’s a 95-point bike at AMCA judging.
I’ve ridden this bike very little and it has not needed any maintenance since I owned it. This bike is completely stock as it was delivered from the factory 70 years ago. You will not find a finer example of this classic mid ‘50s German motorcycle.
I have not registered this bike, I have ridden it with a classic screwdriver registration.

Jack’s Assessment:
We know this bike and owner very well. Robert has been a rider, collector, and restorer of a wide range of bikes all of his life. Bottom line, this is a collector’s bike that is rideable. When this bike was built, NSU was the largest manufacturer of motorcycles in the world with a pile of racing credentials to its name. Do a bit of research and get drawn in.
Single cylinder 4 stroke. Very cool machine.
