Jack’s Listing Assessment:

CBE has had a long time collaboration with Mike, who is the editor of Cafe Racer Magazine. First got to know him on the set of “Cafe Racer” TV on the Discovery Channel back in 2010 when three episodes were shot at CBE. Over the years, we’ve worked on several of his bikes and projects, written articles, advertised and so on.

When you are the editor of such a widely read niche magazine, you get access to all sorts of nice, shiny bits that vendors would love to see displayed in the mag. So it is with this bike. While I have not seen it firsthand, it has been built to a high standard by a qualified team. 3+K miles since the motor rebuild is a plus… everything has been sorted.

The bike is stock performance with a nod to some period café features. Norman Hyde M Bars, bump seat and rearsets make for an ergonomically pleasing café ride. The Alton starter (and wiring loom) is a major plus. Brembo brake is a perfect upgrade. Single Mikuni makes life easy with little compromise in the top end.
