• General:  At CBE, we are getting old enough we don’t like to remember things, so we make our rates and billing as transparent as possible.  All estimates and invoices have sufficient detail for our customers to understand where they are spending their hard earned “discretionary income.”

  • In House Labor Rates:  Work performed at CBE is billed out as follows:
    • Repairs and Restorations labor $85/hr.
    • Guild rates – call for details on working in the Guild Shop.
  • Process Services: CBE uses a number of trusted subcontractors for various services.  CBE’s mark up for managing the vendor and assuring a quality deliverable is 30%. Services include:
    • Paint:  Brent Budgor at The Vintage Vendor in Burlington, VT is our exclusive painter.  Please click to go to the PAINT webpage for details and pricing.
    •     Polishing: We do limited in-house machine polishing
    •     Sand Blasting of Castings:  Sand and Vapor blasting.
    •     Powder Coating: We use Finish Solutions. in Burlington.
    •     Machining:  Several local machinists support our needs.
